Hi, I'm Holly....
I am so much more than a Real Estate professional so I wanted to take this opportunity to let you get to know me - real life me. I have a Bachelors degree in English and Environmental Studies and a Masters degree in Human Rights. I worked extensively in Recreation and the Education sector before moving into Real Estate. I moved in this direction after buying a selling a number of times with a Realtor and thinking, "I want to learn more about this"; so I did. And it turns out I like this gig and lucky for me, I am pretty good at it too.
That adorable creature you see to your left is Cedar and the human attached to her is me. She is my life co-pilot at this point and we have many adventures together. I adopted her from Thailand when she was 4 - I am a huge advocate of adoption versus the purchase of pets. She gets up to no end of shenanigans and keeps me active and on my toes.
I love to travel. Below you will see a typical Holly type activity - touring around checking stuff out. This photo was taken in the Philippines which is one of my favourite places. I hit up at least one new country every year. I find that travel keeps me humble and grounded. I typically travel alone, on a reasonably low budget, without much of a plan and with much joy and curiousity.
I coach Little League softball which provides me an opportunity to give back. I had some amazing coaches growing up so I know how important that role is for young girls. I also sit on the Board for the Esquimalt Farmers Market with a group of amazing volunteers. If you have never been to our market - please do check it out. I hike and jog, play slo-pitch well and golf and tennis relatively poorly (for now - but watch out).
I believe that the right fit when choosing an Agent is very important. This will determine how you feel about your experience buying or selling your home. I won't be the right Agent for everyone but if you are looking for a down-to-earth, honest person that truly does care more about the relationship than the transaction, then I might be the right Agent for you. And, you might even get some good money saving travel tips to boot.
